Does deselecting a URL delete the page from my website?

No. Selection changes only the XML generated in this tab. The tool does not have access to modify, delete or unpublish content on your website.

A deselected URL can still be found through links or other sources. If a page must become private or disappear from your site, make the appropriate changes on your own hosting or content platform rather than relying on a sitemap checkbox.
