Will my downloaded sitemap update automatically?

No. A download is a snapshot of the selected results from that crawl. The generator does not run scheduled jobs or maintain the file after you publish it.

Regenerate and re-upload when the site’s public URLs change. For a frequently changing site, an automatically maintained sitemap from your own platform may be more appropriate than repeated manual exports.
