Why does my browser say the XML has no style information?

That message usually means the browser is displaying raw XML without a stylesheet. A sitemap does not need a visual design to be useful to crawlers.

Distinguish that notice from an actual XML parsing error. If the browser reports malformed markup, inspect the file and validate it. If it shows a login screen or your homepage instead, check the upload path and server routing.
